Why watts × 24 can mislead
A compressor fridge cycles on and off. Run time changes with ambient temperature, thermostat setting, ventilation, door openings and warm food added. Multiplying compressor watts by 24 assumes it never stops. Measure Wh over a representative day or use an official daily-energy figure under comparable conditions.
A backup-time example
Suppose the fridge uses 360 Wh in 24 hours. A nominal 1,000 Wh battery with illustrative usable fraction 0.8 and delivery efficiency 0.9 would provide 720 Wh: about two days for that fridge alone. Add lights, phones and other loads. Actual factors depend on your system.
What to check before clicking out
